Obscure. When Darkness Shines · TDB Author Collective ✦ Indie E-book

Obscure, a word that evokes something that has not yet been revealed, something that stays hidden in the dark. Yet when darkness shines, that obscurity gets lifted and what was hidden takes the stage. The intriguing part is that no one knows what will emerge; it can be anything or nothing at all.

In this compilation of stories, authors show what Obscure can mean to their characters—different points of view, various genres, all bound to this one concept. And we aren’t the first writers or poets to sit down and let our ink flow as we contemplate the subject. People have always been intrigued by what they cannot see, what they can’t foresee, as darkness ignites anxiety.

Obscurity embraces our need to unveil covered truths, expose dark secrets, and shine a light upon the dark sides that live within ourselves. It’s an adrenaline rush that makes our heart pound faster, our blood flow quicker, and thus we feel more alive. Join us as we take you on this intense journey to a world where we let ourselves be captured by the idea of what’s unknown.
