This page exists so you know exactly what it feels like to work with The Dreamer’s Bookshop.
✍ Why I work with authors this way
I am an independent non‑fiction author myself.
I know what it means to:
- write from lived experience
- carry stories rooted in illness, identity, difference, or quiet resistance
- feel like an underdog in a system that rewards volume and familiarity
- scream in the void, that is the internet, and market your books alone
That is why I built this haven.
Not faster. Not bigger. But safer. Kinder. More intentional.
📚 What does collaboration mean here
When your craft is part of The Dreamer’s Bookshop:

I believe books have more power through the faces, voices, and stories behind them.
That is why I offer authors:
- a personal Q&A: a written feature on the blog & video called Meet the person behind the pages
- original promo called The Author's Choice: get to know the author through their choices
- TDB Author Collective: an opportunity to be featured in one of our literary projects.
You choose how much you share and contribute.
🍃 Pace & process
There is no rush here.
All we do is at your pace, you're in control.
- timelines are discussed, not imposed
- communication is clear and human
- health, energy, and capacity are respected
If something becomes too much, we pause. That is not failure — that is care.
🌙 What I ask in return
I ask only that you:
- speak with honesty
- honor the shared values of respect and empathy
- treat fellow authors and readers as humans first
This is a community space — not a competition.
