I now live in the United States.
Do you have fur babies?
I'm a dog person and used to have a pup. She died of old age, and I haven't yet gotten another.
Do you use a pen name?
Tabatha IS my pen name.
I figured if people like her books, great for her. If they hate them - it's her fault, not mine :-)
What kind of writer are you?

Name one book you loved as a kid - one you loved as a new adult - and one you love now.
I wasn't an avid reader until later in life. Some of my favorite books are:
- Song of Achilles
- Educated
- Devil in the White City
- Rules of Civility
- Night Circus
- Daughter of Fortune
Is there an author you look up to? Or had an influence on your craft?
No. I like to pay attention to different writing styles. Because my books involve a lot of dialogue, this is what I pay most attention to.
How would you describe your craft in one sentence

At The Dreamer's Bookshop, we embrace diversity and advocate for invisible illnesses. How do you feel about those topics? Do you include messages in your writing?
In a draft of a book that's yet unpublished I have a character dealing with exactly that.
Do you have red lines when it comes to writing/reading?
I absolutely don't let AI write for me. Sure, I can ask for a synonym suggestion, but I want to keep my work MINE, however imperfect it may be. In reading, probably the same. If it's disclosed that a substantial portion was "AI-assisted", I would probably skip that publication.
Was there a review that touched you more than others?
"This offers a unique perspective on sports romance novels that are so popular now by showing the effect that someone supporting can have on a game, player, and team. Really interesting point of view."
If someone asked you why you write, what would you answer in one sentence?
Once I started (during Covid out of boredom), I just can't stop. Creating and developing these characters is the most rewarding thing I have done in my life.
Which book are you most proud of and why?
It's gotta be the first. You realize: wait a minute, maybe I have something here!
What would you tell an aspiring writer?
Just write. Put on "paper" what's in your head. You can edit it later.
What's a wish you have for yourself as an author?
To never stop improving.
What's a wish you have for yourself as a person?
To never stop learning.
Do you have a message for your audience
This series is not just about tennis. It's about relationships, mainly. Even if tennis is not your thing, I hope that you find the characters themselves - and their interactions - worthy of your attention.
